Canada’s Ag Day will be celebrated on February 15, 2023
Every year since 2017, the entire agriculture industry has taken part in numerous events across the country to celebrate agriculture, demonstrate our pride and spark conversations about our food.
This celebration has become a trending topic on Twitter nationwide, and we look forward to participating in 2023!
Connecting with consumers
Canada’s Ag Day is all about showcasing the agriculture and agri-food industry and helping consumers better understand where their food comes from and the people who produce it. Consumers want to know more, and this day is a great way for the industry to start the conversation.
Here are some ideas on how to get involved
- Invite farmers to take part in a live event on social media
- Share your knowledge and stories about agriculture by hosting a webinar
- Hold a photo contest on social media
- Host a potluck of meals created from local ingredients
- Post a photo, make a video, or write a blog. Share what you’re doing on social media and use the #CdnAgDay.
- Get inspired by the resources and content available on our website
